Cheap Great Neck Wrench

the first time I used this ratchet the ridges that are suppossed to hold the head at the preset angle stripped out allowing the head to wobble freely. For very light use only. -FAIL-

An excellent tool. Feels very sturdy and well-made. The grip is a good size and has rubber accents. I've only owned this tool for a few days so I can't attest to longevity, but I don't imagine it falling apart anytime soon. I thought the double head might be intrusive, but it's subtle and hasn't bothered my ratcheting so far. Good product.

The 10 mm. combo wrench was too small on both ends. It was punched off-center to boot. Visually under magnification, you can see edge-rounding and a general lack of precision.I own an old Volvo that I like to work on when I can, and I bought this metric set specifically for that purpose. It sat unused for over a year until I needed to use the 10 mm. wrench to remove the battery cables. When it didn't fit, I checked the nuts with a Craftsman wrench to confirm that it was the Wilmar wrench that was faulty and not the nuts on the battery cables.I called customer service to report this incident, and while the set was bought more than 1 year ago, they credited my account with a promotion equal to the price I paid, to be applied to my next purchase. Plus, they said it wasn't necessary to return the defective set.Amazon has proved itself time and time again to be a great company with excellent customer service and a generous return policy. My only suggestion was that they include in their product description the "country of origin" as a forewarning, which in this case is India, clearly stamped on every one of the wrenches. Had I known this, I would have continued to shop and not jumped at the chance for this "bargain."

ordered looking for a 3/8 drive torque wrench, when it arrived it was a 1/2 inch. Not worth sending back, so I have an extra 1/2 inch torque wrench

I purchased this socket set in a bit of an emergency situation - I live 20 miles or more from the nearest 'big box' store, depending on which direction I travel in - and since gas prices are so high right now, it sometimes makes more sense to order items like this than to make a 40-mile round trip for one item. I needed this for a quick repair to my vehicle, so I ordered it and paid a little extra to have it shipped faster.I looked at several different socket sets before settling on this one - I intentionally did NOT purchase the cheapest set, nor the most expensive, opting for a middle-of-the-road set that I thought would serve the purpose. Imagine my displeasure when we opened the box and found the socket driver handle only operates in ONE DIRECTION. It's supposed to go left or right, but it only goes left. I'm not willing to go through the hassle of returning it to get another, since I needed the rest of the pieces in the set, and can buy a replacement driver handle when I go into town again, but it was rather irritating to get the set and find that the main piece is broken. In addition, the hard plastic box they came in is cracked on the inside. There was no damage to the packaging at all, so I can only assume it was packed this way, or dropped *extremely* hard during shipment.All in all, it's ok for the price, but I would have appreciated receiving one that actually worked.

Not a bad product at all. Made of tempered steel. Needed a set of open wrenches that could fit a socket (tight space with no place for a handle) and this fit the situation perfectly. Made of tempered steel (so its not ultra good quality) but compared to SEARS (where they charge 40 bucks for one crowfoot), this was a bargain. Well worth the price.

I have had a heck of a time trying to find a wrench with such low torque settings in town, went on Amazon and found this one. Have had great luck with it thus far, would strongly it to anyone doing extensive auto work needing a low torque wrench.

I purchased this because my other torque wrench is too big for smaller jobs and this was the perfect torque range and size. Great for oil drain plugs. It's not that difficult to convert the measurements into ft/lbs. It's not the easiest tool to adjust and it doesn't come with a protective case. If you use a tool once it's paid for itself. Buy it, you'll be thankful.

Bit doesn't hold well. The design and the construction of the chuck doesnt work. Probably why these are selling cheaper than their weight in scrap metal. Very frustrating.

Made in Taiwan...what can I say...Like they really give a rat's apple about YOUR quality of work.But for ten bucks, Hey, you might be able to threaten a mugger with it.

I was very anxious specting this tools as I needed to do some serious work in my car but never got it!!!! After 2 weeks there was the reimbursment in my account but no tools an no explanations. Pretty frustrating.
